Industries Served
Nutron serves a very wide variety of industries with our state-of-the-art, custom lighting designs.
Finishing Capabilities
One of the many contract manufacturing services available from Nutron is our finishing service. We understand the important role the right finish plays in your completed product.
To help us achieve superior results, Nutron's finishing department employs a sophisticated powder coating process. Beginning with an aqueous cleaning system, our component racking allows for efficient flow and quick changes.
At Nutron, we are always striving to be environmentally friendly and completely EPA compliant, so the entire process is designed to virtually eliminate paint exhaust and waste.
Nutron’s Finishing Process
The conveyorized process starts with a thorough aqueous cleaning before the paint is electrostatically applied.
Next, we oven bake the parts with solid state temperature controls to assure that the finish is thoroughly cured. A variable speed drive on the conveyor provides added flexibility for different runs.
Additionally, our custom spray booth can accommodate two operators if required and the entire system is constructed of stainless steel for greater durability.
Custom and Specialty Finishing from Nutron
If your custom lighting component requires specialty or custom coatings, our finishing department can apply them off-line, using a separate spray booth.
Nutron also has the following capabilities:
- Painting plastic parts, such as injection moldings.
- Apply textured or wrinkle coatings.
- Finishes able to withstand extremely high temperatures without discoloring.
- Custom masking to minimize overspray
- Multiple colors applied to same part
Nutron’s Additional Finishing Capabilities
As a complete value-added supplier, we also provide pad printing with our computerized equipment. This allows the expert application of names and logos while also eliminating the need for certain information labels.
